Climate Change Studies:
Integrating Studies of Science, Society, and Solutions

The University of Montana's Climate Change Studies (CCS) minor is the first interdisciplinary undergraduate degree program of its kind in the nation.

The CCS program offers students a unique opportunity to become informed and engaged on the pressing issue of climate change—from multi-disciplinary coursework, to field studies, to study abroad and service learning opportunities.

The program is open to students from all majors.

The Climate Change Studies minor has made me reevaluate some of my closest beliefs, taught me the value of skepticism, challenged me to verify sources, instilled in me a wonder for the complexity of the world, and pushed me to not only learn about climate change but act on what I learned.”  --Recent graduate of the climate change studies minor
