A visioning exercise to explore new approaches

1) What’s missing from the current recreation management toolbox? How might these gaps be filled? What kinds of new approaches and strategies do we need?
2) How might technology assist in the development of new approaches to management and monitoring [e.g. trail counters, video cameras, web reservations and registration, others we have not yet developed]
3) What kinds of new strategies do we need for working with adjacent land managers to coordinate recreation management?
4) How might new approaches maximize the pros and minimize the cons of limiting the number of visits/visitors?
5) What new approaches might we take to distribute different types of recreation use? (e.g. hiking, climbing, fishing, skiing, snowshoeing, stock use, trail running)
