CFC alumna, Kearstin Edwards, (B.S. Recreation Management, B.S. Forest Resource Management)
has been selected to receive one of the Forest Service's 2008 National Wilderness Awards. Award recipients have been chosen through a nomination process that considered their contributions to wilderness stewardship, education, research and leadership in use of traditional skills and minimum tools.
