Graduate Seminar

Instructor: Rotating Faculty

This seminar has two primary goals. The first goal is to bring together graduate students and faculty who are working on, or have interest in, social and policy issues in conservation, protected area management, nature-based tourism and recreation management, and human dimensions of natural resource management in general to discuss current research projects and significant contemporary issues in this arena. The second goal is to provide students public speaking experience and constructive feedback by offering a forum for presenting research proposals, completed thesis/dissertations, and draft conference presentations. Presentations will be made primarily by current graduate students enrolled in the class.
