Amur Tiger habitat conservation and predator-prey dynamics Project Objectives
1) Modeling tiger habitat within the Russian fareast as a function of human development and major prey species; 2) Predicting potential tiger habitat in the Changbaishan pl 3) Predicting potential Amur leopard habitat for reintroduction in the Russian Far east, and 4) Developing GPS based models of kill-rates for Amur tigers - this latter project will be the focus ofincoming graduate student Clay Miller's MS thesis starting in Fall 2009.
