Visitor Tips
- Park in the parking lot where it will not block access for others.
- Litter detracts from everyone’s outing – pack in, pack it out. Bury human waste away from the trail and streams.
- Dogs are welcome. Please be responsible and clean up after you four legged friend while on the trails and in the parking area.
- Give wildlife plenty of room - they must conserve energy to survive.
If you get lost
- Stop - Sit down. Look at your surroundings. Let the fear of being lost pass.
- Think - Analyze your situation: weather, terrain, physical condition & immediate needs.
- Organize - Look at your personal resources: energy, food, maps, etc and organize them.
- Trails – All signed and groomed trails will lead to the parking area.
- Plan - Lay out a course of action which is in line with you resources and situation.
