Thursday, September 13th

7am - late afternoon/early evening
Field trip to the National Bison Range and the Ninepipe National Wildlife Refuge
Buses will depart from the East Broadway Park & Ride Lot at 1122 East Broadway (map)

Buses will depart from the East Broadway Park & Ride Lot at 7am. Free parking will be available in this lot. The driving tour of the Bison Range will be led by Pat Jamieson, Outdoor Recreation Planner at the Bison Range and UM Wildlife Biology alum, ‘80. After a stop for lunch, the trip will continue on to Ninepipe National Wildlife Refuge. Buses will arrive back at UM in the late afternoon/early evening. Sack lunches will be provided. Field trip tickets are $35. (Space is limited but there are still seats available!)

Friday, September 14th

Outside of Forestry Building (rain location: Forestry 106)

Join us for light refreshments and a chance to connect with current students and faculty.

Lectures; Wildlife Biology Program Film Premier
Interdisciplinary Science Building 110

Presenters will include current graduate and undergraduate students, The Boone and Crockett Chair, Dr. Paul Krausman, and the John J. Craighead Chair, Dr. Joel Berger. The film was created by Conservation Media, which is owned and operated by Wildlife Biology alum Jeremy Roberts, ’03. The film features audio recordings of interviews given by Phil Wright, Dick Taber, John Craighead, Bart O'Gara, and Mary Pengelly (wife of Les) as well as footage of current faculty and students in the field and in interviews.

A cash bar will be available.

The dinner menu will include meat and vegetarian lasagna. A cash bar will be available. Dinner tickets are $25.

Thunder Road (Bruce Springsteen Tribute Band) Concert
Dennison Theatre (note Location change!)

Nominated for a 2012 San Diego Music Award, this eight-piece tribute band from southern California is led by Josh Tanner. Tickets are available at the Adams Center Box Office, MSO Hub, The Source in the UC, Southgate Mall, Worden’s Market, or by calling (406) 243-4051. A small block of tickets have been set aside for 75th Anniversary attendees. Tickets are $20 plus convenience fees.

Saturday, September 15th

Wildlife Biology Program Tailgate
Block 6

The Wildlife Biology Program will host a tailgate before the Grizzly football game. Our tailgate will be in block 6, which is on the far north side of campus, near the practice fields and the pedestrian bridge over the Clark Fork. Tailgate start time TBA.

A small block of football game tickets have been reserved in the south end zone for Wildlife Biology alumni and friends. Use code "WBIO75" to purchase tickets in the reserved block. Tickets can be bought over the phone or in person through the Griz Tix Main Office Box (local: 243-4051; Long distance: 888-666-8262). Tickets will cost $35.
