Mission

The mission of the Bolle Center is to provide interdisciplinary education, research, and community service to advance knowledge of the relationships between forests and people with the goal of ensuring the continued diversity, productivity, and beauty of forests through healthful co-existence with human communities.

The Bolle Center strives to:

  • Build civil, productive relationships among participants engaged in forest management decisions;
  • Promote a clearer understanding of the interaction between forests and human communities, and;
  • Advance the capacity of students, professionals, and citizens to address natural resource issues in an informed and constructive manner.
