Programs
Wildlife Biology
Wildlife Biology at The University of Montana is a joint program between
the College of Forestry & Conservation, the Division of Biological Sciences
in the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Montana Cooperative Wildlife
Research Unit. Consequently, our students receive course work in both
theoretical and applied aspects of wildlife ecology and conservation;
many opportunities for hands-on experience also exist.
Undergraduate degree programs lead to a B.S. in Wildlife Biology
with 3 options: Terrestrial, Aquatic, and Honors. Graduate students
may pursue a M.S. in Wildlife Biology or a Ph.D. in Fish and Wildlife Biology.
