Graduate Courses

The College of Forestry and Conservation offers a diverse array of coursework at the graduate level. Many classes are inter-disciplinary or multi-disciplinary in nature and incorporate a range of dimensions from theoretical to methodological to managerial aspects of natural resource conservation and management. While no single organization scheme can adequately capture the nature of such courses, for convenience of browsing below we have organized our graduate course offerings into 4 headings: natural/physical science emphasis; social/policy science emphasis; research methods, modeling and techniques; and seminars/discussions. The courses listed below reflect our regularly scheduled graduate offerings. We also frequently offer special topics classes. Additionally some of our senior level classes are offered with a “graduate increment option” so they may be taken for graduate credit (Marked UG).
