The ICD program has 55 graduates; following are updates from a few.

Amy Quandt

Amy Quandt

Amy Quandt completed ICD studies in 2010 after serving with the Peace Corps in Tanzania and then managed a community-based elephant conservation project in NW Thailand. In 2012 she began a PhD program in Environmental Studies at the University of Colorado to continue her M.S. degree studies of agroforestry in Tanzania.

Curan Bonham

Curan Bonham

Curan Bonham completed ICD studies in 2006 following studies of integrated conservation and development projects in Guatemala as a Peace Corps volunteer. He then received a Fulbright award to Chile and worked with Bioversity International in Italy and India. Curan is now an Intervention Monitoring and Evaluation Manager with Conservation International in Washington, D.C.

Dana Foster

Dana Foster

Dana Foster worked on a coffee farm in El Salvador as a Peace Corps volunteer and designed and implemented a direct trade program between Black Coffee Roasting Company in Missoula Montana and Finca Buena Vista, a Salvadoran Organic Coffee farm, for her ICD M.S. project (2012). Dana's love and passion for coffee continues; she now works as the Coffee Specialist and Assistant Buyer at Zoka Coffee Roasters in Seattle.

Garrett Olson

Garrett Olson completed ICD studies in 2007 after serving in the Peace Corps in Zambia where he studied rural livelihood generation. Garrett is a seasonal smokejumber with the U.S. Forest Service and returns to Zambia every winter to work in agriculture and agroforestry with NGOs.

Hal Carey

Hal Carey served in the Peace Corps in China and completed ICD studies in 2004. He is currently an Agriculture Development officer in USAID's Bureau for Food Security posted in Heart, Afghanistan.

Jason Seagle

Jason Seagle

Jason Seagle has coordinated agricultural development and livelihood programs in the South Sudan for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees and several other international organizations since completing ICD studies in 2007. Most recently he worked with GOAL, an Irish NGO.

Noah Jackson

Noah Jackson

Noah Jackson, ICD 2007, works in forest farming communities in Asia and Africa as a researcher, storyteller and documenter of ecological knowledge. He currently directs the NGO Forest Voices and consults on farmer training and sustainable agroforestry for the Rainforest Alliance.

Sangay Wangchuk

Sangay Wangchuk

Sangay Wangchuk completed ICD studies in 2012 and is now a faculty member and Dean of the Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment in Bhutan where he conducts research and training on conservation and development-related issues.

Sarah Potenza

Sarah Potenza completed ICD studies in 2007 after working with an NGO on the development of sustainable agricultural practices, nutrition and education in Honduras.  Sarah is currently the Executive Director of WWOOF-USA (Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms, USA).

Siobhan Lozada

Siobhan Lozada

Siobhan Lozada is completing ICD studies on rural livelihood strategies and food production practices in Belize to provide policy prescriptions for enhancing food system resiliency and household food security in the context of ecological and agricultural change.
