2012 SAF National Convention

Note: With the National Convention so close to Missoula, we have decided not to hold a SAF State meeting in 2012 and concentrate on having as many Montana SAF members attend the SAF National Convention. We plan to host a small Montana SAF get together at the National Convention, (possibly combined with UM's Alumni breakfast) where we will give out state awards.

Note: It was the Inland SAF's turn to host the Leadership Conference, and in December, they decided not to hold one and attend the one in Portland. In lieu of putting one on at the last minute, we will have a brief overview of the SAF leadership and Organization at our first Executive meeting.

Mt. Helena Continuous Vegetation Inventory

The Eastside Chapter of Montana SAF initiated the Mount Helena Continuous Vegetation Inventory in 2002. The concept was to develop a project that, on a continuing basis, exposed young people to various aspects of forests and forestry. -- FIND OUT MORE --
