The planning committee invites you to participate in the 4th International Human-Bear Conflicts Workshop to be held March 20-22 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Missoula, Montana. Internationally, there is a growing political, legal, and social momentum for communities to seek non-lethal ways to address human-bear conflicts.

The 4th International Human-Bear Conflicts Workshop is a gathering of agency professionals, community wildlife specialists, and other human-bear conflict managers. We expect to register 300 attendees that are interested in conflict management for all three North American bear species: black bears, brown/grizzly bears, and polar bears. Our attendees are likely to seek information about the following products and materials:

Bear-resistant containers for garbage, from individual residences to industrial scale
Bear-resistant food storage products or systems for hikers, outfitters, campgrounds, cabins, houses, rural communities, industry, etc.
Bear capture, telemetry, and immobilization systems
Bear deterrent systems ranging from bear spray to fencing systems and nail or electrical pads
Bear-resistant systems certification
Information/education materials from brochures to signage

Registered vendors will have opportunities to display their products using interior table displays or outside demonstrations of equipment, or both. Vendor spaces inside the hotel are available for $250. Outdoor exhibition space is also available for $100, or you can reserve both an indoor and outdoor space for $350 total. One conference registration is included with your $250 vendor fee.

Space is limited and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
