2017 Winter Technical Meeting

This year's Winter Technical Meeting will be held on March 13th at the Coeur D'Alene Resort in Coeur D'Alene, ID. The meeting will open for registration from 8:30-9:15 am (Pacific time).  The formal agenda and presentations will begin at 9:30 am and run until approximately 4:30 pm, with a break at noon for catered lunch.  Please refer to the items below or contact David Affleck (406-243-4186; david.affleck@umontana.edu) for further details.

Agenda

The 2017 Technical Meeting will provide a forum for presentations and discussion of research related to recent INGY investments in tree biomass estimation, sapling and small tree growth, and stand productivity, as well as topics related to growth and yield and forest inventory.  This year's agenda includes presentations by:

Registration

Registration fee of $85 will cover meeting room rental, lunch, and coffee breaks. Registration can be paid by credit card by contacting Marie Rothell (Univ. Montana, Dept. of Forest Management) at 406-243-5529 or marie.rothell@umontana.edu.  Fee is also payable at time of registration as cash, check, or purchase order - but please provide advance notice for attendance planning.

Venue

The Coeur D'Alene Resort located at West 303 North River Drive in downtown Coeur D'Alene, ID  - right on the lake. The hotel is approximately 40 minutes east of Spokane International Airport, and can be accessed from Interstate 90 (Exit 11) or Highway 95 (Northwest Boulevard).  Detailed directions can be found here.

The Coeur D'Alene Resort has set special room rates for the group.  Room reservations may be made individually by calling 1-800-688-5253 (or at www.cdaresort.com) and requesting the rate for the "Inland Northwest Cooperative".

Parking at the Coeur D'Alene Resort is available but not included in registration; parking is also available in the adjacent Independence Point Park as well as in city lots and parkades nearby.
