What is the 790 number?

The Griz Card is the official University of Montana identification card for students, faculty and staff, alumni, affiliates, and retirees. It provides easy access to University of Montana resources and packs a wealth of innovative technologies into one powerful and convenient card. 

Students

Your 790 number is listed on your acceptance letter and on your grizcard.  To be eligible for a Griz Card students must be registered for at least one class in the upcoming semester, or be an incoming freshman that has been accepted to the University of Montana.

Employees

Your 790 number is listed on your grizcard. Full or part-time employees of the University are eligible for a Griz Card once hiring information is entered into the Human Resources system.
