ArcGIS is a geographic information system for working with maps, data and analytical models. Given the importance of ArcGIS to government and the private sector, the college offers a program whereby a student can earn a certificate in GIS Sciences and Technologies. Organizations use ArcGIS for:

- Field Workforce
How to acquire a copy
For use on University owned computers:

For use on personal computers:
Students can pick up an eval copy of ArcGIS from QSG. The eval copy times out after a year.
Who manages the license
The University has a site license for ArcGIS. QSG has information on the license restrictions.
