Students help build house with Habitat for Humanity

UM students help with Habitat for Humanity Blitz Build

UM students helped the Montana chapter of Society of American Foresters lead a Blitz Build of a Habitat for Humanity home in Stevensville. During Montana Forest Products Week more than 65 volunteers erected a house in a weekend. Local SAF member (and forestry alum) Scott Kuehn coordinated the effort to gather wood from local mills. Missoula College carpentry program students worked to pre-cut and assemble many of the house components.
