  • 1977\81 Texas Tech University. Ph.D. in Range Management. Dissertation: Influence of Vegetation Manipulation Practices on a Depleted Deep Hardland Range Site.
  • 1975\77 Colorado State University. M.S. in Range Science. Thesis: Effects of Sodium Chloride on Carbon Dioxide Exchange Rates of Pinus ponderosa.
  • 1973\75 Texas A & M University. B.S. in Range Science. Graduated Magna Cum Laude.
  • 1970\73 Tarrant County Junior College, Fort Worth, Texas.
  • 1991/present Professor*, Range Resource Management, School of Forestry, The University of Montana, Missoula, MT.
