To prospective graduate students,
I’m glad to see that you’re interested in environmental
and natural resources policy, law and administration. We have lots to offer in this area, within
the College of Forestry and Conservation, and on
campus. Please click here to see a
representative sampling of environmental policy-type courses currently listed
in our University’s 2003/04 catalog.
Within the College, for example, courses are taught in the areas of
natural resources policy, natural resources governance, social forestry,
wildlife policy, protected areas management, ecosystem management,
collaborative conservation, natural resource economics, and others. Students can also take advantage of other
courses offered on campus, like public lands law offered by the Law School,
a number of courses in public administration offered by the Dept. of Political
Science, and various environmental politics and policy courses offered by the
University’s Environmental Studies Program, among others.
