Bridget Dobrowski

B.S. Resource Conservation 2003

Bridget Dobrowski

Bridget lives in Monterey California where she works on agricultural water quality improvements for the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Before moving to California she worked in Zion National Park as a biological science technician. Resource Conservation was a wonderful program providing a base understanding of science and incorporating management and policy. This program allows Bridget to work in a variety of jobs such as managing field studies, policy development and implementation or watershed restoration. Taking policy was not something Bridget looked forward to at the beginning of her program, but it turned out to be one of the most influential classes she took during her studies at UM. Bridget plans to attend graduate school beginning in 2007 and continue working in watershed management to protect and improve water quality. Bridget greatly appreciates the excellent education she received from the College of Forestry and Conservation and it is hard to find a better location to study the intricacies of environmental work than western Montana.
