Kristin Malone

Kristin MaloneKristin Malone lives in Leadville, Colorado where she works as the Outdoor Studies Program Coordinator for the Colorado Mountain College.  Kristin also works for the National Outdoor Leadership School instructing mountaineering courses in the Northwest.  Kristin has a life-long love of natural history, environmental education, and exploring the mountains of North America with her students.  Since graduating from the University of Montana Kristin has worked for the Wrangell Mountain Center, the Keystone Science School, and the Yosemite Institute. 

Kristin’s degree in Resource Conservation has helped her in many ways. Probably most relevant to her current work is the knowledge of land management and policy she gained through this program. This degree gave Kristin a broad foundation from which to draw on in a variety of professions.
