Graduation Resources

2017 Commencement, Saturday, May 13th

Main UM Ceremony at 10:00 am, Washington-Grizzly Stadium

W.A. Franke CFC Ceremony at 12:00 pm, Adams Center West Auxiliary Gym

No tickets or RSVPs are required for the W.A. Franke College of Forestry & Conservation Commencement Ceremony. If attending the Main Ceremony, come directly to the West Auxiliary Gym afterward. Students only attending the CFC Ceremony should be at the West Auxiliary Gym by 11:45 with the blue card that will be included in your cap and gown packet. Light refreshments will be served on the north lawn of the Forestry Building by the High Wheels directly following the ceremony.

Grad Days will be held at the UM Bookstore March 14-16. Cap and gown orders can also be placed online through the Oak Hall Cap & Gown web page.

Congratulations on nearing the completion of your degree program! Below are the deadlines and fees for filing graduation paperwork for both graduate and undergraduate students along with links to the electronic applications and other graduation resources.

If you have any questions or need assistance completing your graduation application, please visit the W.A. Franke CFC Student Services Office in FOR 103.

Undergraduate

Graduation Application Deadlines:

  • Fall Graduation - Last Friday in April
  • Spring Graduation - Last Friday in October 
  • Summer Graduation - Last Friday in February
  • Graduation Fee:  $40

Late applications will be accepted until the following dates with a $15 late fee:

  • Fall Graduation - First Monday in October*
  • Spring Graduation - First Monday in March*
  • Summer Graduation - First Monday in June*

*Graduation applications submitted after this date will be deferred to the following semester.

Bachelor's Graduation Application

Graduate

Graduation Application Deadlines:

  • Spring Graduation - First Monday in March
  • Summer Graduation - First Monday in June
  • Graduation Fee:  $45

Late applications will not be accepted.  There is a $20 fee to move your graduation application to a subsequent semester.
