Angela Meyer Selected for Lucille and Derby Dustin Future Scholar Award
As a selected Future Scholar, Angela Meyer has been invited to attend the National Recreation and Park Association Annual Congress as a guest of the Academy of Leisure Sciences and the Society of Park and Recreation Educators (SPRE). The Future Scholars Program provides graduate students pursing a doctorate in an area related to recreation and leisure studies the opportunity to meet outstanding researchers and scholars in their field.

Kate Cenis Joins CFC as Director of Development and Alumni Relations
Cenis has come to Missoula from Washington D.C. where she worked in major donor fundraising for the Democratic National Committee for seven years. Cenis is originally from Vermont, and has a life-long interest in forestry, conservation and resource management issues and practices. She is excited to lend her passion to our educational mission and fundraising efforts here in Montana.

Theresa Dahl Wins Best Poster Award
Theresa Dahl, a graduate student in Ecosystem and Conservation Sciences under the direction of Professor Diana Six, was a winner of a best poster award at the 8th Annual UM Graduate Student and Faculty Research Symposium held April 11, 2009. Her poster featured work on the Role of Fungal Nutrient Utilization in a Bark Beetle-Fungus Mutualism.
