Wildlife biology graduate student Hilary Eisen is named as a 2012-13 Wyss Scholar for Conservation in the American West

The Wyss Scholars Program provides financial support to UM students who are committed to careers in Western land conservation through a federal or state land management agency or at a nonprofit in the region. It's funded through the Wyss Foundation, a private charitable foundation dedicated to land conservation in the intermountain West.

The Wyss Scholars Program for Conservation of the American West is a joint effort between CFC’s Bolle Center for People and Forests and the Environmental Studies Program.  The program selected its first cohort of Wyss Scholars in 2006, and this year marks the continuation of the grant for an additional five years. For more information about the Wyss Scholars Program see the Bolle Center web page
