CFC faculty member Kelsey Jencso and information specialist Mike Sweet met last week with Montana's lieutenant governor, John Bohlinger, who chairs the Montana Governor's Drought Advisory Committee. Jencso is the State Climatologist for the Montana Climate Office, which provides climate research and products for Montana's agricultural and natural resource managers. He and Sweet also met with Jess Aber, the staff person for the committee, to discuss drought-specific data and reports produced by the Climate Office. The photo shows Aber, Jencso, and Bohlinger.
Jencso is a new professor of hydroclimatology at the CFC, and serves as the state climatologist for Montana.
