Learn about the stewardship of forest lands and resources

In pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Forestry at the University of Montana, you'll develop the skills, knowledge, and experience to manage forested landscapes.  Both on campus and in the woods, you’ll learn about forest ecology, silviculture, and timber harvesting, and will learn how to address and collaborate on important natural resource challenges.  You can steer your program in Forestry towards options in Forest Operations or Forest Resources Management, and will earn a degree accredited by the Society of American Foresters.
