Lubrecht Experimental Forest
is a forest owned by the College of Forestry and Conservation
at the University of Montana
. Section 13 of the forest is a 640 acre area managed by students. Our Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society has a committee studying the wildlife community on the Section and the interactions with other forestry interests, such as logging and fire. Section 13 is open to all students for recreation and biology/ecology projects. It is a great resource for education and job skills. We are open to any ideas or projects that students may have in mind. The Section 13 manager's job is to assist students in projects and to be a liaison between Lubrecht Forest and student groups. For more information contact Ken Plourde or Clay Chow at the Wildlife Office (Forestry 310) or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
