

The Inland Northwest Growth & Yield (INGY) Cooperative was established in 1984 to provide an independent organization for addressing mutual information needs and technical challenges concerning the growth and yield of forests across the interior northwest. The cooperative consists of private timberland owners, tribal and governmental forest management agencies, forestry consulting firms, and forest research institutions throughout the Inland Northwest. Together, specialists with these organizations have been able to identify and solve complex mensurational and modeling challenges that would have been intractable without collaboration.
