The Quantitative Services Group (QSG) is the in-house tech support entity of the College of Forestry and Conservation.  We are an augmented IT group, alongside UM IT Central, providing specialized services and support to faculty, staff, and students within the college. 

We are now using a new one-stop destination for your IT needs.  Faculty, staff, and students can use UM Solutions Center to find solutions/information by searching the knowlegebase and can request IT related support by filling out an incident request, service request, or by emailing support@cfc.umt.edu

The Library has a limited supply of laptops, hotspots, and webcams for students to checkout.  You can check out the items for 1 month.  Students can extend their checkouts for an additional month if the item being extended is not out of stock.  

What is a hotspot?

Wireless hotspots are wireless access points, that you can take with you to provide internet access to mobile devices such as your laptop or smartphone.

Because there is a limited supply please only check out items that you really need.

The LightboardNEW!!  FCFC Lightboard Recording Studio

A lightboard is a high quality glass "whiteboard" that allows instructors to draw and write on, just as they would a whiteboard, while facing the camera.  Our lightboard studio also has the ability to incorperate powerpoint presentations into your recordings.
