Minor

To earn a minor in Wildlife Biology, the student must successfully complete the following coursework with a minimum grade of "C-" (19-20 credits):

Must take the following courses:

  • BIOB 160N - Principles of Living Systems (Fall only), 3 cr
  • BIOB 170N - Principles of Biological Diversity (Spring only), 3 cr
  • BIOB 171N - Principles of Biological Diversity Lab (Spring only), 2 cr
  • BIOB 272 - Genetics and Evolution (Spring only), 4 cr

Must take one of the following courses:

  • BIOO 101N - Survey MT Wildlife & Habitats (online only) 3 cr
  • WILD 105N - Wildlife & People (Fall only), 3 cr
  • WILD 180 - Careers in Wildlife Biology (Fall only), 2 cr

Must take both of the following courses:

  • One 200-level or greater WILD course, 2-4 cr
  • One upper-division course in BIOE, BIOO, NRSM, PTRM or WILD, 3 cr
